POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for answering calls to Holiday Inn Club Vacations club members as well as club member referrals (Owner Referrals). The position is also responsible for making outbound calls to Owner Referral leads generated by the company designated web form inquiries. These leads will be distributed multiple times daily and agent is responsible for selling Getaway Packages with sales tours to both the inbound calls and the web form leads. Agents are required to review member and member referral account details and provide packages based on their eligibility. Based on their qualifications, agents will provide the package details including travel dates, tour date, and total package cost
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Answering inbound calls for members/referrals and making outbound calls to referrals with the purpose of selling vacation packages.
- Attending team meetings and huddles once a week.
- Attending coaching, one on one, and/or training sessions with a supervisor or manager once every 4 weeks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum one year telemarketing package sales experience preferably with previous owner marketing.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read/write/speak the English language, Spanish a plus.
- Understand written/oral instruction, timeshare/hospitality background preferred.
- Must be able to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on call center needs and be enthusiastic and energetic.
- Must possess basic data entry and word processing skills.
- Superior organizational and tracking skills and the ability to navigate through multiple technology systems while on phone with the owner or prospect.
- Must have reliable internet access with a work area free from noise or distractions
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Higher education encouraged
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery. Must be able to lift up to fifteen pounds. Specific work assignments may change without notice. WORKING CONDITIONS
The first 90 days of employment are required to work in the contact center. After that time frame, if agent meets and or exceeds the minimum standards, they may be granted the opportunity to join our “Work from Home” program. This model does have policies and procedures which will be reviewed with the agent during their new hire training program. There are times that an agent will be required to attend meetings and training workshops at the contact center location.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
