To apply please visit: https://jobs.careerstaffing.net/job-detail/144843/tooling-coordinator Tooling Coordinator FULL-TIME $24/hr GENERAL TOOLING EXPEDITER RESPONSIBILITIES • Machine scheduled walk through –verifying all items that are planned are at the machines. All other tooling should be pulled, inspected and returned to proper locations.• Pulling a printing plate backlog once a shift. All items must be inspected and staged if they meet requirements.• Pre/post inspection of cutting dies – pre-inspecting and tagging cutting dies once a shift• Pulling and putting away cutting dies as it is returned from the machines. If dies are too large or too heavy to handle alone, get someone to assist.• Letting New Item Coordinator know of dies or plates to be modified, repaired or replaced.• Notifying Superintendent and Supervisors of the status of the tooling ‘In-House Repair’ or ‘Outside Repair.’• Assigning printing plate & cutting die #'s from the Print or Cutting Die Log Book.• Keeping up die spread sheets.• Assigning location to all print plates and enter it into HRMS.• All supporting documentation will be attached and delivered to die room. • Responsible for all out going tooling.• Ordering tooling and supplies when needed.• Helping scan print cards and cads in system, if applicable *Pay ranges from $23.00-$24.00 Perks of Pratt? • Insurance benefits within ONE MONTH of hire • Monthly BONUS, paid holidays, and 401k with partial match • 6 months: PAID vacation days Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Vision insurance Supplemental Pay: • Bonus pay DFW-03 WS-03 Schedule Shift start: 6:00AM or 2:00PM Shift length: 8 - 10 hours Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance - available after 30 days Paid time off 401(k) plan Qualifications Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded) Must pass background check Can lift 50 lbs Must be at least 21 years old • All die coordinators must be qualified to inspect and recognize tooling that needs to be repaired, replaced or revised.• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters, read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate, apply concepts of high school math.• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.• Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.• Product layouts and production specifications• May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color visi About Pratt Industries Pratt Industries is recycled packaging and paper and corrugated packaging company.
