Summary of Job Responsibilities
Responsible for participating in the training program, including the assessment, plan, implementation, facilitation, tracking and day –to-day operations. Ensures associates have the required tools, knowledge and skills to perform their jobs and support our mission. Works with supervisory staff to address changes in the work environment and develop a learning culture. Monitors the effectiveness of training.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Promote and advance a learning culture within the organization
- Train employees during their initial orientation (PHD week) and their assigned new position.
- Familiarize associates with established training policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Work with Lead Trainer to update and revise training plans and documents as needed.
- Ensure technical resources, training materials and supplies are available to associates in training
- Ensure training documentation is completed thoroughly and timely including signoffs for assigned trainees
- Achieve 1st pass yield of 75% or greater
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Willing to attend HOT POPPER training to become HOT POPPER Trainer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exhibit Hendrickson core values
- Ability to train individuals and small groups
- Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess thorough understanding of the processes and work flow for given area
- Maintain an acceptable attendance level of less than four points in a rolling calendar year
- Have no more than one written warning on file for any reason in a rolling calendar year
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar industry.
