Accounts Payable Coordinator

Schwarz Partners has an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Carmel, IN! As our Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will prepare and process payments for vendor invoices, provide customer service to Sheets plants, support the Accounting team with administrative duties, and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION: Responds to vendor inquiries and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments.Process A/R invoice for plants.Process A/P invoices.Reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed.Supports with end of month closing duties.Additional processing requirements for outside customers.Process requests for employee expense reimbursements.The Accounts Payable Coordinator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area; typically reports to a Supervisor or Manager.   REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. 0-1 year of general work experience.   PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree. 2- 5 years relevant expereince.   REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.): Microsoft, Great Plains, and Cietrade. Multi -Tasking. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills, including attentiveness to items requiring follow-up. Ability to appropriately prioritize work assignments. Detail-oriented. Ability to work well as a member of a team. High level of initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution.   Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits.
