What are the responsibilities and job description for the US Staff Accountant position at Carenet Health?
Overview
The Staff Accountant will process daily accounting tasks. They will demonstrate good judgement in making timely and sound positions while maintinging, verifying, and updating various ledgers, spreadsheets, and databases. They will be an excellent addition to our Accounting team and help Carenet achieve team goals.

Responsibilities
- Perform GL account reconciliations
- Perform month end close procedures including journal entries
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures
- Fixed Assets recording, tracking, depreciation and disposal
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Assist with special accounting projects
- Prepare analysis and summaries of Accounts as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and/or 1-2 related experience in accounting
- Previous experience with Quickbooks is preferred.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player who is able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
