What are the responsibilities and job description for the HHA/PCA position at CarePro of NY, Inc.?
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document administration accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques when needed
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Document medical information accurately and maintain confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care, caregiving, or nursing home settings is preferred
- Familiarity with hospice care is a plus
- Knowledge of medical documentation procedures is beneficial
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.55 - $23.27 per hour
