Location: Lakeville, MN (relocation assistance available)
Reports to: Production manager
Position Type & Schedule: Full-Time 2nd Shift 4:00pm – 2:00am Monday through Friday
DESCRIPTION
Caresfield is looking for a person with experience in operating narrow-web flexographic presses such as Mark Andy’s, rotary die presses, and automatic turret rewinders such as KTI’s to produce self-adhesive labels and tags. This role will also serve as our lead operator and supervisor for our 2nd shift.

- Thorough understanding of flexographic narrow-web label press equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Label Press Operator
- Operate narrow-web rotary die presses to produce the required quantity of labels
- in the shortest time,
- with the least amount of waste,
- that meet the quality requirements of each job.
- Maintain logs and records as required by production management
- Perform basic routine maintenance and adjustments to the presses
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Operate narrow-web rotary die presses to produce the required quantity of labels
- 2nd Shift Supervisor
- Assist other label press operators by:
- Answering equipment and job questions
- Providing training where needed
- Maintaining a positive work culture
- Ensuring all operators are achieving maximum output during their shift
- Assist other label press operators by:
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating narrow web flexographic rotary die presses
- Physical ability to engage in the customary activities associated with manufacturing work.
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machines.
