Position : Electrical Technician
Position Type : Contract
Location : Livonia, MI
Responsibilities:
· Work along with our Electrical & Electronics Engineers of benchmarking vehicles.
· Ability to understand critical attribute of vehicles and extract data as guided by supervisor.
· Interns provide engineering support to one or more areas of vehicles.
· Basic knowledge of automotive EE parts. Like ECU, Sensors, Wiring harness etc.
· Basic knowledge of Electrical vehicle.
· Should be a quick learner and show a willingness to learn.
· Work on - Microsoft Office applications & make meaningful presentation as required.
Will gain experience in/on:
· Real world knowledge of understanding the systems, sub systems and parts in an automobile.
· Hands on work experience in creating Bill of Materials, tagging of parts and sub systems.
· Gain knowledge of Electrical & Electronics system in the automotive vehicle.
· Gain knowledge of Creating electrical schematics and routings.
· Real time experience of using measuring instruments like Multimeter, Clamp on meter etc. to measure functional attributes as required.
· Gain knowledge in Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), electrical and electronic modules in current trends.
Preferred Skills and Education:
· Associate degree in Electrical / Electronics / equivalent studies.
· Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Be passionate about automobiles and Electric vehicles.
