Job Description
Functioning under the clinical guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the staff nurse (LPN) participates in the assessment and care of clinic patients. This involves a variety of tasks requiring judgment born of solid knowledge and expertise in general nursing theory. The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Thorough documentation in electronic health record at every visit.
- Maintains a clean environment
- Injections administered using the 7 patient administration rights
- Timely call backs to patients
- Assists with referrals as needed
- Daily checking and response to email communications
- Daily team huddles
- Active, positive interaction with healthcare delivery team
Education and Experience
- License to work as an LPN in the State of South Carolina
- LPN Associate degree/diploma
- BLS certification
- Six to twelve months experience in a community health center or family practice setting is strongly preferred.
Location
This is a floater position. Will work in any/all CareSouth Carolina medical offices with locations in Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Lee, and Marlboro Counties.
