What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Assistant position at CareVet?
Animal Center West Omaha is looking for a Part-Time Kennel attendant for our busy two Doctor practice.
This position is required to work evenings and some weekends. We are looking for someone that has experience with animals and the ability to walk all sizes of dogs, this is a great position for a college or high-school student looking for a few hours a week and weekend shifts.
The kennel assistant duties will include but not limited to:
- Caring for all boarders in the facility, to include medicating them as well
- Walking all dogs in the facility
- Feeding and watering all boarders
- Cleaning of runs and kennels on a daily basis
- Keeping up with the laundry for the kennel and clinic
- Cleaning of the clinic to include trash removal, sweeping, mopping, etc.
