What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Liaison position at Carewell Hospice?
Our organization is currently hiring a Community Liaison to work directly with our nonprofit partners to enhance the effectiveness of our programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate and highly motivated, and will be skilled in speaking with leadership at community nonprofits. The Community Liaison will also be expected to design and execute outreach strategies, develop partnerships with local organizations, as well as plan and execute fundraising events.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with various constituency groups.
- Provide outreach and information for constituents.
- Conduct public hearings.
- Work with the media to communicate with constituents.
- Build and maintain coalitions with organizations, agencies, groups, and individuals.
- Establish collaborative partnerships and build networks with other agencies and community-based organizations.
- Interact with elected officials.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
