Principal Accountabilities
PLC Programming
Repair/Troubleshoot production equipment
Troubleshoot/calibrate scales
Read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics
Ensuring food safety and quality
Documenting daily work assigned on paper and in maintenance management system
Utilize parts in inventory to repair equipment and flow procedures for documenting usage
Identify problems and make suggestions to improve operational processes
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a warm or cool environment, as well as slippery surfaces at varied heights
Serve as the “go to “person” for all computer, printer and related hardware and software issues (admin as well as plant system pc’s) and request user and maintain setups.
Work with Corporate Response Line to resolve issues network or pc related.
Monitor and keep up IDF/network switch rooms in regards to cabling and regular upkeep and maintenance of the equipment and switches
Work with purchasing department regarding replacement, maintenance, and repair of office equipment
Work with company phone systems regarding the phone system as well as maintain, enable, and disable voicemail system and users, phone codes and usage reports.
Daily communication with plant personnel on any reported PC or network related issues that are not immediately resolved.
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to work in a cold to warm environment
Basic Knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers – simple programming and troubleshooting
Previous experience in networking IT/PC related experience a plus
Ability to work with techs and maintenance personnel within the plant and help on any PC or network related tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands on experience with electrical power and controls (PLC, VFD, and instruments) especially Allen-Bradley
Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC Programming and troubleshooting, RsLogix 500/Control Logix 5000, Factory Talk View
Install and trouble shoot Industrial Networks- Ethernet base and components
Ability to read and interpret schematics, general machine installation and repairs
Competency in basic electrical 24 and 120 volt AC and DC circuits
Basic knowledge of Windows XP/7 operating systems
Experience with ladder logic programming a plus
Experience with plant related systems such as video monitoring systems, RFID systems, Kronos Network systems.
