Principal Accountabilities
- Must be able to rotate all positions: Pepperoni Line Operator, Grinder Operator, Gravy Operator, Spice Room, Mixer Operator, Jack Driver. Set up and tear down equipment.
- Cross-trained within department as needed.
- Responsible for completion of paperwork and other miscellaneous duties.
- Also requires lifting, stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and recording weights from scales.
- Ability to operate the IPFS system.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Work on the production line as needed.
- Ability to read and comprehend meat inventories and formulas for product.
- Ability to read specs.
- Must be able to rotate within the department and other departments
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift and handle product/boxes
- Ability to work flexible hours and/or shifts
- Accuracy, precision, and dependability are a necessity
- Must be a self-starter and have good communication skills.
- Must be a team player, but also must be able to work well alone.
- Must have basic math and reading skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous production/farm experience
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
