The Shipping and Receiving Lead is responsible for the raw material flow of our production rooms. Prepare outbound trim orders to meet customer specification. In this role, you will work closely with other departments to ensure appropriate inventory levels of raw materials in our bin cooler. You will support our inventory operations, data management, research and analysis and safety and compliance.
Principal Accountabilities
Leads work doing a variety of tasks such as operating computerized labeling and scale systems, operating forklifts, high reach equipment, pallet jacks, loading / unloading trailers, communicating with truck drivers, conducting safety checks of trailers, operate tools to ensure compliance across all areas of the warehouse.- Leads will perform PPE checks, assist with the new hire Ramp-In Process, help teach employees in the Loading Dock Department how to properly utilize pallet jacks, forklift, scan guns, and thermometers for temperature checks.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety, food safety and HR rules and regulations while working in a fast-paced environment, surrounded by powered industrial trucks.
- Possess basic understanding of the tasks being performed by loading dock employees and demonstrate a history of safe mobile equipment operation.
- Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in a cold environment, as well as slippery surfaces.
- Standing for long periods of time and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facility.
- This position requires the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in production and warehouse management.
- Strong leadership skills

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.).Enter Required Experience here
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
