Principal Accountabilities
- Perform general machine repair without assistance
- Understand motor control and motor circuit repairs
- Utilize PM procedures for assigned machines
- Position may include: equipment troubleshooting, working with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, fabrication/welding, electrical/electronics, reliability and proactive maintenance, computer use
- Remain current with the latest technical information through a program of continuing education or advanced apprenticeship training
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- 5 years previous industrial experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Able to understand schematics and installation/operation manuals
- Knowledge/Demonstrated skills in the following: Fabrication, Electrical Systems, Reliability, Equipment Troubleshooting, Plumbing, Mechanical Systems, Pneumatic Systems, & Process Flow / Maintenance Systems
- The Maintenance Tech IIA must have any 5 of the following training/certifications: Electrical Systems, Fabrication, Reliability (Level 1 PdM tech), Equipment Troubleshooting, Mechanical Systems, Pneumatic Systems, Hydraulic, or Scale and Printer Repair
