What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchant (297201) position at Cargill?
The Senior Merchant will manage the Ohio supplier base and fulfill transactions delivering corn to our CSST and CASC facilities in Ohio of roughly 100mln bushels annually. The role will manage supplier negotiations and execution in terms of timing, volume, quantity, and cost. This role is a hybrid role that manages the merchandising and origination for the CSSTNA plant in Dayton Ohio in addition to managing the CASCNA corn book for our elevator facilities in southern Ohio (Bloomingburg, Chillicothe and Circleville). In this role, you will work in collaboration with the origination team to buy and sell corn from and to country elevators, producers, feed mills and processors.
