Principal Accountabilities:
This position is accountable to produce food safe product in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties include:
- Comprehending weights and measurements during mixing procedures, communication about liquid egg levels to appropriate departments, and training for confined space entry, chemical handling, CIP system, annual mixer training, pallet jack and the use of laboratory equipment.
- Complete SAP documentation accurately and proficiently as well as any other written communication applicable to the job.
- Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures;
- Follow and champion personal and food safety policies and procedures as well as reporting any and all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to perform basic math such as Addition, Subtraction, Division, and Multiplication.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends and/or holidays as needed with advanced notice.
- Must be willing and able to work with and/or handle various food products, including eggs and pork, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous food manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, safety focused environment.
