Job Purpose and Impact
The Sustainability Data Owner will provide expert knowledge and data governance thought leadership for the Global Impact team's core data standards across the organization. In this role, you will partner collaboratively with key project stakeholders to ensure data governance education, scoping and delivery is understood and adhered to. You will also build, sustain and enhance the solution capabilities and drive modernization, standardization and differentiation where appropriate.
Key Accountabilities
- Define, document and deploy data standards for the global impact capabilities and build alignment of core data elements across the organization.
- Provide data domain expertise for project delivery and ensure proper governance, delivery shaping and execution across programs and projects.
- Monitor delivery measures to ensure alignment with strategic data goals and key performance indicators.
- Develop and foster relationships with our internal data teams and third party providers to ensure delivery of high quality data within our data solutions and system deployments.
- Build and coach a subject matter expertise team which is accountable for project delivery.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
- Other duties as assigned
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years experience demonstrating success leading master data management or related programs in a global organization.
- Expert level understanding of food and agriculture supply chain and commercial data
- Sustainability domain knowledge
- Experience working successfully in a complex, matrixed global organization
- Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, and data architecture
