On a Ramp Agent position, you will support Loading and Offloading Cargo Airlines Operations handling services including, but not limited to ramp, freight, cabin cleaning services functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Airport Ramp Agent - Include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Load and unload cargo onto and off of aircraft.
- Operate a towing tractor.
- Connect and operate ground support equipment.
- Must have the ability to routinely kneel, crawl, climb, bend, push and pull, and lift up to 75-lbs.
- Required to work outdoors.
Minimum Requirements for an Airport Ramp Agent:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Work experience equivalent is a plus
- Must have the authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain an airport security clearance.
Physical Requirements for an Airport Ramp Agent:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in confined spaces.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
Background Qualifications for an Airport Ramp Agent:
- Must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, or irregular shifts.
Pay Range: $17 to $18 per hour
