What are the responsibilities and job description for the Titling Specialist position at Caribou?
We are on the lookout for a new Caribou Financial Titling Specialist to join our Titling team. The role is responsible for the daily processing of title work, including individual and team assignments, and requires in-office attendance at our Downtown Denver hub.
- Receive incoming titling documents; review, decision, and status in system
- Receive and status incoming titles and lien releases, match to files
- Create and maintain files of paper documents necessary for titling
- Create outgoing document packages for title/lien perfection by third party vendors
- Complete title & accompanying documents and send to DMV for lien perfection
- Provide authoritative responses to questions from internal and external customers
- Add and maintain comprehensive, detailed system notes and statuses
- Contact previous lien holders pursuant to payoff sent with no title received
- Follow up with third party vendors, DMVs, and customers as needed to perfect liens
- Complete lender status reports
About you:
- Computer literacy and ability to adapt with multiple software programs
- Knowledge of title processing and/or experience with DMVs
- Effective and respectful communicator; you see people as people regardless of their role
- Your written and verbal communication is courteous and clear
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
