Project Coordinator - Design Group

Coordinates moves and installation projects, including research and product pricing. May assist others on larger projects. Responsible for used furniture warehouse inventory, including receiving, tracking and redistribution. Records and monitors client requests. Responsible for billing and receipt of payments.

• 
  Independently works on assigned projects and assist on larger projects, i.e., meeting with clients, move projects, installations, and product pricing.
• Responsible for maintaining a dedicated warehouse to receive and redistribute used furniture within the Carilion system. Requires travel, inventory count, and pictures. Uses knowledge of inventory and independent judgment in deciding which items to store and which to discard.
• Works with movers and installers, visiting job sites locally and outlying areas. Prepares quotes to clients for approval.
• Accumulates and reports Capital Project hours to Carilion Accounting.
• Receives, records, and monitors incoming Client Project Requests via the Carilion TMA system and assist Management staff assigning projects.
• Kronos Time Tracker.
• Monthly billing to external clients, receiving payments, and making bank deposits.
• Maintains office equipment.

What We Require:

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: Three years experience working in the Construction/Design environment required.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Effective interpersonal skills and both effective written and verbal skills. Must be able to work as a member of a team.
