A Cake Decorator at Carlie C’s IGA realizes that providing prompt and friendly customer service is priority #1. Being courteous and cooperative with both the customer and coworker is a critical aspect of maximizing sales and building business for years to come. It is a great challenge to know that all of our Cakes which we sell every day, will be made by you. Therefore, we're looking for someone who possesses a positive attitude and who is committed to creating cakes that are both appealing to the eye and to the taste buds.
Duties
- Bake and Decorate Cakes
- Use scales and printer, understand tare weight.
- Use and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
- Use chicken fryer, monitor grease.
- Make meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
- Understand portion control
- Monitor food temperature requirements.
- Operate oven, proof box.
- Keep sales area full, and rotated.
- Clean and sanitized area
- Maintain Carlie C's Uniform Standards
- Any and all other daily operational duties as directed by Deli/Bakery Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age, friendly and outgoing. *Neat and clean in appearance.
- Must enjoy working with the public.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Experience a plus
