Field Application Specialist

Primary Function:

Provide exceptional field service to the customer base in support of the sales effort. Service, promote, demonstrate, and train on the various waterproofing and AVB systems, products, and accessories.

Service a regional area or customer base to ensure quality installations of Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing (CCW) systems, products, and accessories.

The Field Application Specialist possesses a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Field Service Technician/Account Manager/Product Technical Support and an advanced skill set needed to provide exceptional technical service in all aspects of the job.

Local or Regional Travel is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Full Performance Skills:

• Oral Communication
• Directly communicate with Technical Managers, Field Service Representatives, Technical Service Representatives and Technical & Warranty Service Coordinators / Administrators.
• Directly communicate with Owner, Architect, Consultant, Rep, Distributor, Applicators, etc., about CCW systems, products, and repair issues. Communicate internally with Sales Managers, and Product Managers
• Interpersonal skills
• Understanding, interpreting client’s expectations and concerns

Written Communication:

• Field Observation Reports
• Application Guides
• Monthly Reports
• Leak Notifications
• E-mail / phone to customers, building owners, internal employees, etc.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Education:

Chemistry, engineering, architectural or construction related Associates Degree

Equivalency:

3-5 years of experience in Architectural Design, Tech Support, Consultant, or Contracting role

Experience:

Minimum 2 years as a Field Service Technician/Account Manager/Product Technical Support

Equivalency:

Minimum 5 years of roofing and waterproofing, or construction experience
