Position Title: Dishwasher

Reports To: General Manager
Department: Back of the house- Kitchen
Job Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the washing of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The Dishwasher must work efficiently and effectively to keep the kitchen running smoothly and support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and an exceptional dining experience to guests.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
· Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment.
· Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
· Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces.
· Assist with putting away deliveries and organizing the stockroom and kitchen area.
· Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dishwashing area.
· Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience as a dishwasher or related position preferred.
Work Environment:
· The environment requires the team member to work inside in a temperature-controlled environment.
· Required to work weekends and irregular hours.
· Requires working under stressful conditions.
· Must be able to work safely in a noisy area.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be physically able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.
· Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
· Requires maintenance of the kitchen area, including moving equipment and supplies.
