General Qualifications
The Graphic Design Support Specialist must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in his/her faith. Position Objective
The Graphic Designer will work within our Creative Services Department to produce excellent, engaging visual content for Carolina Creek Programs, marketing initiatives and other ministry projects.

Key Job Accountabilities

Step into the entire design process, from intent, to concepting, to drafting, to refinement, to final application and delivery

Create engaging pieces that will be at home anywhere from phone screens, to flyers, to billboards

Collaborate on assets for existing campaigns or using assets from other designers

Attend all required staff meetings and events

Actively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of Carolina Creek

Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actions

Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Education/Certifications/Licenses
-
17 years of age or older required.
-
Must have a current valid driver’s license.
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
Work Experience
-
Experience in Graphic Design (educational and/or professional)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

Understanding of Graphic Design fundamentals

Ability to follow verbal and written processes and procedures

Ability to receive and implement feedback

Must be flexible with an ability to adjust and problem solve in challenging situations

Team player with a rock-solid work ethic and a positive attitude
Physical Demands
Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, hiking long distances on varied terrain, shouting, ability to lift/carry anywhere from 15 to over 50 lbs., and engage in difficult and exhausting manual labor, often over long stretches of time without breaks.
Additional Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a background investigation, as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
