Kitchen - Line Cook
Carolina Meadows is seeking a Part-Time Line Cook. The shifts are every weekend and hours vary from 6am-2:30pm or 11am-7:30pm. Flexibility to work weekdays, as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a professional with the desire to be the best, looking to advance and learn all that this great industry has to offer. Our kitchens are an opportunity to showcase your current cooking skills, as well as an opportunity to learn more. We work with sustainable and seasonal product, and create close relationships with our farmers, artisans, and fisher-folk.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED),
Two (2) to four (4) years culinary experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
You should be able to apply common sense, and a strong understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication abilities, and strong customer service and basic math skills.
Must be proficient in the operation of kitchen machinery and basic cooking utensils and methods.
