Carolinas Staffing is looking for Compounding Positions in Leland, NC!!!
· Job Description:
Ø Blend and extract chemical batches according to written formulas and instructions in the following area: Liquids.
Ø Contain and clean up non-hazardous chemical material spills per documented procedures.
Ø Maintain all related equipment clean and sanitized.
· Safety:
Ø Follow all safety requirements listed on batch records.
Ø Monitor safety equipment, report low stock or replacement needs to Supervisor.
Ø Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures for compounding equipment
Ø Additional safety equipment requirements. Where they are stored and how to use.
· Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Follow all written and verbal instructions regarding safety precautions and personal protective equipment.
Ø Follow all proper GMP and Hygiene Procedures
Ø Implement spill containment procedures and immediately notify Supervisor or Maintenance.
Ø Follow all work order and batch formula instructions including Cleaning & Sanitizing Procedures
Ø Confirm availability of all required chemical raw materials listed on formula sheet before starting batch.
Ø Verify availability of required packaging materials before starting batch.
Ø Ensure equipment and work area is prepared, organized and in working order before starting batch.
Ø Weigh and record all raw material entries on batch formula sheet or work order as instructed.
Ø Submit blended batch sample to QC Lab
Ø Verify QC Lab approval before extracting or filling the batch.
Ø Status labeling of tanks
Ø Ensure that any excess product remaining after filling is properly stored and identified.
Ø Clean-up work area and equipment when completed or at the end of each shift.
Ø Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all related equipment for Mixing, Cleaning and Sanitizing.
Ø Identify and address issues contributing to below standard outputs – take an active role in improving process efficiencies
Ø Document explanations of any ongoing issues or trouble.
1 Compounding Opening:
· Compounding Position: Experience Required with Resume
2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm
Rate of Pay: $16.75 Per Hour D.O.E.
Attire: Closed-toe shoes, beard/hairnet
