What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Surgery NP/PA- Night Shift position at CaroMont Health?
Outstanding opportunity for an experienced, Board Certified Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy, established surgical practice in Gastonia, NC (North Carolina), located just minutes from Charlotte, one of the fastest growing cities in the country. CaroMont Surgical Associates consists of 9 (nine) Surgeons and 4 (four) APPs. This will be a 7-on / 7-off rotation and shift will be 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
Position will be hospital-based including nightly rounding on general surgery, acute care surgery and trauma cases, seeing new consults and admissions, daily progress notes, conducting H&P's, and some minor bedside procedures.  Surgeon supervision and mentoring will be supplied from day one. First Assist is preferred but not required.
CaroMont Regional Medical Center is a 435-bed comprehensive and progressive hospital with state of the art ORs and an active medical staff of over 400 physicians representing most medical subspecialties including established trauma / acute care surgery, hospitalist, and intensivist practices.
