RN OR FT & PT Days or Rotating, FT Weekend Days Position Summary
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
License Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days
Certification Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association and others as required by individual department
Certification Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department
EDUCATION
Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Continuing education requirements as defined within the CARE program.
Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: Minimum of One (1) year as an RN in an OR setting. OR experience is required.
