Overhead Crane Operator

This position is responsible for operating slab room overhead cranes to back stack polyurethane foam slabs and supply 3rd shift cutting crew. Responsible for the removal of foam buns from the pouring line to the curing area for a specific period of time until the foam is ready to be transported to internal and external customers.

Works in a chemical curing environment with exposure to chemical fumes and temperature changes.

Operate chop saw at A-line if necessary.

Drives a forklift as required - Will be certified by Carpenter Co.

Must also be able to read & interpret a tape measure to 1/8” tolerance;

Able to work with minimum supervision;

Some computer experience preferred;

And be able to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, holidays and call-in with little notice.

Hours are 3rd shift starting at 6pm up until work is completed for the night.
