Refrigeration is looking for a Finance Intern to assist with financial reporting in the North American Truck Trailer controllers group in Palm Beach Gardens, FL!
The successful candidate will be self-directed and able to work independently, experienced using the Microsoft Suite of office tools, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and be a willing and enthusiastic team player.
Intern responsibilities include:
Provides administrative support and conducts simple finance reconciliations and reporting to the finance/accounting organization.
Works closely with Senior accountant in reconciling intercompany balances.
Maintains records for monthly journal entries and coordinates close calendar updates.
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
Maintains standard balance sheet accruals & reserves and related journal entries.
Assists with business unit deliverables and actuals reporting.
Assists in testing SOX compliance.
Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management, along with proposals for resolution.
Performs varied work assignments as assigned
Education/Certifications:
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance preferred. GPA of 3.0 or better.
