For 50 years, the Refrigeration business has been an industry leader, providing customers around the world with the most advanced, energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units, trailer refrigeration systems, mechanical systems, and refrigerated display cases.

Refrigeration is looking for a Finance Intern to assist with financial reporting in the North American Truck Trailer controllers group in Palm Beach Gardens, FL!

The successful candidate will be self-directed and able to work independently, experienced using the Microsoft Suite of office tools, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and be a willing and enthusiastic team player.

Intern responsibilities include:

• Provides administrative support and conducts simple finance reconciliations and reporting to the finance/accounting organization.

• Works closely with Senior accountant in reconciling intercompany balances.

• Maintains records for monthly journal entries and coordinates close calendar updates.

• Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.

• Maintains standard balance sheet accruals & reserves and related journal entries.

• Assists with business unit deliverables and actuals reporting.

• Assists in testing SOX compliance.

• Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management, along with proposals for resolution.

• Performs varied work assignments as assigned

Education/Certifications:

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, accounting or finance preferred. GPA of 3.0 or better.
