About The Role:
This position is for a Lead Engineering Services and Support technician who is under minimal supervision. Performs complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. Leads lower-level support staff to confer with engineers on details and implications of test procedures and results. May serve as a resource on varied tasks.
Role Responsibilities:
- Documenting Preventative, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance activities
- New Equipment Start-ups, PM’s, and Maintenance
- RTU maintenance
- Boiler Maintenance and repairs
- Refrigeration Maintenance and troubleshooting
- Use of BMS (Building Management System) software
- Use of CMMS software
- Diagnose and repairs of Psychrometric Test Cells/Lab Testing Equipment
- Potential Candidate will be responsible for performing preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities to the Carrier Indianapolis Res. HVAC Testing Lab
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 5 years of experience working in a maintenance role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with/on low pressure steam boilers
- Proficient in welding/brazing
- Refrigeration maintenance and troubleshooting
- HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience in Emaint CMMS a plus
- Intermediate understanding of Industrial electricity
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation and PLC operations
- PLC programming experience a plus
