This is a hybrid role of someone based out of Salem OR or Pittsford NY .

Key Responsibilities
- Execute processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, i.e., RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution
- Approve and qualify vendors to fulfill account needs
- Respond to client issues or problems
- Authorize purchase orders and approve payments to ensure a smooth procurement process
- Analyze and review price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices
- Prepare and review requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages
- Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years plus experience in indirect or direct procurement
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor in finance, accounting, supply chain or business
- Attention to detail
- Negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office and procurement software i.e., Proactis
- English communication skills, both written and verbal
