Responsibilities

Carroll Engineering is seeking a Project Administrator within our Land Survey department to support multiple project managers in tracking daily project activities, preparing proposals and other correspondence, facilitating deliverables and be the department interface with accounting to ensure proper billing of projects.

  • Communication with multiple project managers
  • Tracking daily project activities and produce the necessary reports
  • Preparation of proposals
  • Preparation of both internal and external correspondence
  • Answering client phone calls
  • Interfacing with clients to verify expectations and to ensure timeless of delivery
  • Facilitating delivery of plans and correspondence
  • Project cost accounting
  • Tracking proper unit billing of many active projects
  • Interface with accounting department to ensure proper billing
  • Accounts receivable

Requirements

This individual will require excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task. Verbal and written communication skills are also a key component of this position.

  • High school diploma required. Some college preferred
  • 2 years proven experience as a project administrator or in similar role
  • Solid overall computer skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional abilities with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge or project management, flowcharts, technical documentation, etc.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Organized, detail oriented, and focused
  • Deadline-driven
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to take direction, but also be self-sufficient and a self-starter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
