Optometry Office Front desk Receptionist/Technician/Optician (Carrollton)
Part time job opening for Optometry Office
MUST be FLUENT in SPANISH (a predominantly Hispanic patient population seen)
Previous history of work in an Optometric setting is preferred, but training will be provided as needed. Any work history in a medical setting is preferable but not required.
Duties will include:
- Greeting patients, checking in/out patients, and taking payments
- Appointment scheduling and managing patient records (electronic database)
- All phone duties
- Verifying insurance for patients (medical and vision plans) (training offered; however, experience in this field is preferred but not required)
- Pre-testing for patients before examinations (will train accordingly if no experience)
- Dispensing glasses and contact lens training (will train accordingly as well)
- Other office duties which include helping to keep a clean and tidy office
Other important qualities include: being professional, reliable, punctual, personable, and having good communication skills.

*Office Hours are Mon through Fri 10am to 6:30pm but days needed for work are 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, and Thurs)
