Behavioral Health Liaison
Liaisons are motivated and competent and understand the business side of health care. They work closely with referring hospitals, MDs, ER, counseling platforms, schools, CM/SW, etc., on determining medical appropriateness for admit. The Liaison helps the family and patient determine their healthcare and recovery goals. Liaisons build strong referral relationships, do territory management and growth, and assist referral sources in patient placement for continued medical care.

Specific Duties
Creates target lists of contacts and decision makers. Develops relationships, provides excellent customer service and educates referral sources on services.
Demonstrates positive referral satisfaction and account retention.
Educates potential patients and families on behavioral program(s). Distributes collateral materials appropriately. Assess patients with behavioral diagnosis, on-site at referring hospitals for admission and manage the referral process.
Supports Sales and Marketing through educational programs, tours, meetings, etc.
Develops strategies to grow market share in core business lines in assigned hospitals. Creates quarterly goals and objectives.
Works with Chief Business Development Officer/Director Business Development to identify opportunities for expansion of strategic business initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years clinical and marketing experience and managed care knowledge preferred. Preferred marketing experience and current contacts and relationships in the Behavioral Health field.
Behavioral background or strong marketing background experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills a must.
Must have ability to identify and analyze business development opportunities.
Ability to work collaboratively with team to achieve monthly goals.
Basic computer word, excel, power point and outlook systems.
