The Procurement Analyst, Indirect Procurement is responsible for managing the procurement process for assigned categories within the Distribution Center, to ensure efficiency and value in the acquisition of goods and services.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding requirements, quotes, orders, cancellations, invoices, account reconciliation and outstanding concerns.
- Assist in the onboarding of new suppliers
- Identifying and resolving problem transactions, ensuring that the resolution is well-documented and communicated to the appropriate parties
- Manage inventory of supplies and anticipate changes based on market trends
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators.
- Assist with tracking expenditures for budget and forecast variance analysis.
- Research, analyze, and gather data to support purchasing decisions.
- Work with Indirect Procurement Teams to identify broader sourcing opportunities
- Establish relationships with leadership and internal business partners; building a robust understanding of strategic direction, requirements, and priorities across spend categories.
- Bring new ideas, methods, and approaches to stakeholders. Leverage expertise to challenge the status quo and drive decisions and actions necessary to improve business processes
- Partner with Indirect Procurement team to develop savings plan
Accuracy and attention to detail is critical- Ability to prioritize according to need and urgency
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide service and work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within the organization and external contacts
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal
- Strong PC skills. Proficiency in Excel, preferred
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and complete tasks on-time with minimal oversight
- Knowledge of ordering, contracts, invoices, and budgeting.
- 1-3 years of experience working in Procurement or related field.
- Understanding of procurement processes and strategic sourcing.
- Knowledge of contract language.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or other related fields

Normal office environment with limited travel.
Role is based in our Braselton DC.
