Switchboard Operator Part Time – Mid-shift – Various (5.5 hours/7.5 hours Req.6560
The Switchboard Operator operates the switchboard and paging system. Receives incoming calls, ascertains nature of call and relays to proper location. Pages authorized personnel according to procedure and announces authorized messages. Clerical duties as assigned. Assist visitors and patients with guest check in a timely and polite manner.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude while dealing with people.
- Appropriate written and verbal communication skills must possess positive customer service skills and professionally manage conflict with various age groups, primarily in the adult level.
- Strong team player and ability to work independently.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve.
- Must be flexible and open to change.
