Join a great team! An enthusiastic self-driven project coordinator/admin is needed for a general contractor.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with the Project Manager to coordinate project requirements, activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Project material procurement management.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to the superintendent and Project Manager.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans, and expenditures.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports for all document responses, drawing updates, proposals received, etc.
- Write and issue subcontractor contracts.
- Write and issue Purchase Orders.
- Write and issue project owner change orders and subcontractor change orders.
- Draft and issue Requests for Information (RFIs), project submittals, and their responses.
- Issue Invitations to Bid and Addenda.
- Manage RFPs and RFQs.
- Compile Close-out packages consisting of warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, and more.
Requirements and skills
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role. Experience in Foundation is desired but not required.
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
