Job Description

Caryl Mechanicals is the leading HVAC system installer in 10 cities throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and eastern Tennessee. We operate in the residential new construction industry and our business is growing! Our mission is to be the largest and very best partner to our country’s largest homebuilders. This role will help drive that mission.

The Human Resources Manager is a member of the Human Resources department and reports to the company’s Chief Financial Officer. The role is primarily responsible for ensuring that the organization runs smoothly as it relates to all personnel-related activities. It drives compliance with regulations and enforces established company policies.

Key Duties

-Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, setting up interviews, and onboarding

-Ensuring that the handbook of company policies are kept updated, communicated, and enforced

-Develop training materials and performance management programs to ensure employees understand their job responsibilities

-Ensure the company is in compliance with all state and federal work-related regulations

-Develop and manage the company’s safety program

-Develop and manage the company’s vehicle record keeping program

-Take the lead in organizing company-wide events, including holiday parties

-Other duties on an as-needed basis as determined by company needs

Qualifications

-Minimum 3-7 years of HR job-related experience

-Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

-Experience working in the construction industry a plus

-Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

  • Monroe, NC 28110: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
