What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Manager position at Casa Central?
Seeking an organized, conscientious professional with prior experience in government/public grant writing & reporting. This individual will serve as a member of the Resource Development team and liaise between Casa Central and its grantors. They will research, prepare, submit, and facilitate grant proposals/reports that support agency goals and meet funder guidelines and criteria. This individual will serve as the primary grant writer, facilitate funder relationships, engage in compliance reporting, and support special project initiatives. This position requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, and project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement. Position Highlights
1. Manage grant process: prepare and organize materials for proposals, and submit and monitor grant applications.
2. Maintain grant compliance and reporting, including outcome measurement and grant budgets - take responsibility for meeting high standards of effectiveness, timeliness, and completeness.
3. Research statistics, trends, and date or grant proposals and community advocacy, and perform research and data-gathering from both external sources and Casa program data.
4. Develop and foster relationships with institutional funders, and provide stewardship for existing grantors.
5. Draft proposals/LOIs, grant application narratives, and budgets, then collaborate with program staff, finance, and the CEO to finalize.
6. Track progress toward organizational and programmatic outcomes and goals and submit reports to funders and investors.
7. Work on other Adhoc projects as assigned by the Director of Advancement.
