Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare is a 99 bed hospital with 219 total beds in its continuum It is a not for profit, hospital with over a 78 year history of excellence in healthcare. Casa Colina is currently seeking a dynamic Director of Major Gifts that will be responsible for strategic planning and management of a comprehensive development program including, identification, cultivation and solicitation of fundraising prospects for the hospital’s many programs. In addition, the Director of Major Gifts will be responsible for the oversight of the day to day operations of the fundraising team.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree is preferred, five to seven years successful experience in major fundraising, preferably in hospital/ medical service and an understanding of Raiser’s Edge databases.
They will also possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, problem solving, research and analytical skills, solid relationship building skills, able to interface with diverse publics. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to initiate, analyze, monitor, evaluate and advance strategic advancement plans, be able to articulate the case for support so that individuals “buy-in” to the vision/mission/goals with sufficient effectiveness to secure gifts at assigned donor giving levels. They must have knowledge and demonstrate skill with computer software programs associated with fundraising and office and have ability to efficiently navigate internet for relevant information.Must be able to speak publicly and represent Casa Colina’s programs in the community.
