Position purpose: Ensures clean, safe and beautiful environment for guests in Plaza area.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)

Clean motel rooms at Casa de Inn, including but not limited to: Clean bathrooms (clean toilets, sinks, mop floors, clean mirrors, replace paper products, empty trash, clean bathtubs and/or showers), empty trash receptacles, clean windows, dust, vacuum, change bed linens, sweep. Perform other minor maintenance tasks as needed, use ladders and step stools as needed.

PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:

• PAID SICK LEAVE (PSL) - Part-time and Seasonal employees begin accruing PSL at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked.  Employees cannot use PSL until after their 90 days of employment.  Part-time employees may use up to 24 hours PSL per year, and cannot accrue more than 48 hours at any given time.

Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)

Able to operate hand and power tools, able to follow verbal and written instructions, able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard.

Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)

Must be able to safely operate motorized vehicles (company truck, golf cart), large power tools (string-trimmer, power wax stripper/buffer, power washer) and small power tools (drill, sander etc). Able to do tasks ambidextrously (wipe, sweep, operate hose, etc). Some exposure to cleaning products (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, weed killer and other chemicals.
