Description:
Cascade Regional Blood Services, your local blood bank center, is seeking an excellent driver to join our friendly laboratory team to pick-up and make deliveries of blood products to the hospitals we serve. Flexible hours to include weekends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES:
- Pick up and deliver blood components to hospitals in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer needs.
- Perform driving duties in a safe, friendly and responsible manner.
- General deliveries as required to airports, bus stations, transport biohazard waste as necessary to and from mobile and fixed sites.
- Document and relay any requests, questions, or concerns from hospital staff to Blood Center Management personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and a clean work environment.
- Keep courier vehicles neat and clean and maintain the safety equipment in vehicles.
- Maintain CRBS image by wearing appropriate attire and having good grooming standards.
- Actively participates in establishing a positive professional attitude toward donors, the public, volunteers and fellow employees.
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills/Abilities:
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
Required:
- WA state driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Regular and responsible attendance and arriving to work on time.
Salary : $32,600 - $41,200
