We’re adding a new role to our team here: Manufacturing Manager! What exactly does this position entail, you ask? Well, in addition to the standard battery of magic tricks and superhuman feats that we expect of all our teammates, this position will have primary responsibility for all production activities required to safely create quality products to deliver on time to our customers. If that’s not specific enough for you, try this list on for size:

• Participate in safety initiatives and commit * Develop an extensive knowledge of Case to a safe working environment, free of Makes laminates, including customers, raw accident and harm to employees and the materials, and marketplace applications community * Support and drive the training program

• Optimize production throughput across all within Case Makes to bolster cooperation shifts in balance with safety, quality, and cross-training across the operation customer service, and inventory objectives * Ensure ERP system data integrity,

• Analyze production data to meet and particularly as it pertains to production, elevate production standards and drive inventory management, and job costing operator accountability * Support Business Continuity Plan,

• Use process controls and lean principles to ensuring that Case Makes is able to improve total operational effectiveness respond to a variety of disruptions without

• Work cooperatively with business impacting our customers operations to meet customer service, * “Other duties as assigned” (of course we supply chain, and sales goals would add this one!)

Do you have what it takes?
We’re ideally looking for a teammate with at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in manufacturing operations, plant management, master planning/scheduling, industrial engineering, and/or continuous improvement. It would be super if you had experience in a manufacturing environment and even better if you have worked in packaging, print, or web handling. We’d love it if you’ve had proven experience as a team leader, supervisor, or manager. This experience will help you to move quickly up the learning curve (we will avoid any tired clichés like “hit the ground running”).

You’ll impress us if you have a college degree in related field (business, supply chain management, industrial/mechanical engineering, statistics/mathematics, etc.) -OR- if you have commensurate work experience in related discipline(s) and/or relevant certifications (APICS, ISM, etc.). Your educational background should provide you the tools and ideas you need in order to know what makes a world- class manufacturing organization, but if you don’t have the formal book learning, we still value the hard work, experience, curiosity, and best practices you can bring from other positions and workplaces.

As the philosopher Napoleon Dynamite astutely recognized, skills are important. Here are some of the skills you just might need in this role:

• Working knowledge of and experience with ERP/MRP or similar computer systems

• Intermediate Excel skills (formula calculations, sorting, filtering, conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables)

• Knowledge of basic business principles: margin, working capital, profitability, etc.

• Nunchaku skills, bow hunting skills, and/or computer hacking skills

• Mathematical skills in converting unit of measure, calculating proportions, and using simple single variable functions

• Solid verbal and written communication skills with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders so that you can deliver bad news and conduct tough conversations without harming motivation or support

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, shifting between a variety of tasks as necessary

Lastly, some other job details: You’ll need to be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship to throw you hat into the ring for this one. This job is located in Osgood, Indiana with core working hours from Monday-Friday 8-5, but there may be times that other hours are required, including early mornings, late evenings, or overnight—keep in mind that you are providing management, training, and support for a 24-hour operation! We’re offering a market-competitive salary that ranges from $66,919 for candidates that might require some development in the role all the way up to $98,174 for an ideal candidate.
