Description

Responsible for planning, developing and implementing a broad scope of Information Technology related projects, most of which involve highly technical and complex factors, specific objectives and identified outcomes; guidelines are typically broad in nature. Research, design and develop computer software systems, test such systems, and document the processes. Position requires significant amount of independent work, judgment and decision-making within defined time and budget parameters.

Requirements

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop software and programs needed for effective and efficient company operations.
  2. Support the company’s developed software and third-party software packages.
  3. Actively work with end users.
  4. Coordinate the integration of new and existing systems.
  5. Analyze and develop user specifications, and design, code and test applications to meet those specifications.
  6. Provide hands-on programming, coding and software engineering support.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to assess and meet their needs, and work directly with end users to ensure their needs are supported in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
  8. Establish and perform to metrics / goals.
  9. Assess business needs, objectives and goals; research and evaluate products and systems that can be used to achieve these.
  10. Work in an extremely safe manner, following all safety rules and regulations.

Qualification Requirements

1. Senior level Student working towards Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field

2. Minimum 3 years experience with .NET programming (e.g. VB / C# / ASP.NET).

3. Familiarity with web technologies (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, JSON, and AJAX).

4. Minimum 3 years experience with SQL Server 2008-2019, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, and T-SQL.

5. Strong relational database design knowledge.

6. Familiarity with Lean / Agile Development.

7. Previous casework manufacturing experience beneficial.

8. Working knowledge of bills of materials (BOMs)

9. Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

10. Motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive with an excellent ‘can-do’ attitude.

11. Ability to maintain a team and customer service orientation and perform in a mature, professional and business-like manner.

12. Superior attendance, reliability and work performance records.

13. Ability and willingness to work extra hours as projects and workload require.

14. Proficiency with the use of personal computers, Word, Excel, Outlook, databases and other systems.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, see and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Minimal travel and/or driving is required. Noise levels are typically low to moderate.
