What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pump Supervisor position at Cashman?
This is intended to be a full-time position.
Starting Salary/Range:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervises the growth and success of the team.
- Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.
- Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations.
- Communicates with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met.
- Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
- Manages the stock control, and checks that inventory records are accurate.
- Ensures the productions team has enough time to manufacture and deliver products based on the customer’s request.
- Creates a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines.
- Communicates any changes in the order or deliver date to relevant parties.
- Monitors production standards.
- Makes sure the working environment maintains access to quality equipment.
- Purchases materials and services required for productions.
- Follows up on interruptions to the order.
- Organizes, plans, and implements inventory activity.
- Provides guidance to employees.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must have the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
- Must be highly organized, have strong attention to detail and possess the drive to achieve results.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or trade school or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years field experience and/or supervisor experience required.
- Must have experience in negotiating and working with suppliers.
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills excel, word, and outlook

- Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
