Electric Cart Driver

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to Departmental and Casino needs
• Assists guests promptly and courteously with lot transportation services
• Drives conservatively, answering general questions about the casino and overall property offerings and special events
• Inspect Cart prior to occupancy, verifying that everything is clean, well-stocked and in good working order before and after use and ensure vehicle is properly charged
• Follow all Casino Property Operation Policy and Procedures while following the Employee Handbook
• Maintain a clean work area for both guests and team by ensuring drive an lot is kept clean
• Provide excellent customer service consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes
• Acknowledgement of the No solicitation or hustling for tips or implying a tip is required for services
• Following all Managements directives as requested in a timely manner
• Report any accident committed by yourself or a team member to Management immediately
• Maintains written records of number of Cart passengers’ rides per hour
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of department records and reports
• Able to follow designated routes for vehicles on property
• Maintains uniform, grooming and conduct in accordance with casino standards
• Responsible for ensuring radio traffic is professional and business related at all time
• Able to operate speaker system in a polite, clear, and professional manner
• Professional use of company radio

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• No moving violation or accident (convictions) within the last 2 years; must maintain acceptable driving record and be insurable
• 1 year driving experience preferred
• Minimum of six months customer services experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Ability to effectively communicate with Team Members and  guests; Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Positive attitude towards customer, team, and casino
•  Ability to drive an electric vehicle with the utmost safety
• Outgoing personality with the ability to converse with guest and promote the property
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED (required)

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-Employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:(*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

• Constant hearing, seeing, and talking
• Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

·         Work is performed mainly in an outdoor environment.

·         Open and closed spaces while working with others.

·         Excessive noise and smoke
