Duties
- Manages the daily operations and staff of the Accounts Payable department to ensure timely and accurate processing of all vendor invoices
- Manage the information flow from Concur for invoice entry and payment selection
- Coordinate with the CFO on payable scheduling and cash management
- Maintain up-to-date vendor reconciliations
- Manage vendor relationships
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
- Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed data for the annual external audit
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Concur or similar automated payable system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience in Syteline ERP System preferred.
- 3 years or more of related experience required including managing a small staff
- Accounting/Finance degree or coursework preferred
- Staff management experience required
