What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Service Technician position at Cassidy Tire and Service?
We are looking for a Road Service Technician for our company. This role will provide high quality service to our customers in-shop and on-the-road at a time when they need it the most. The work location varies between in-shop service work and off-site service calls which provides a lot of variety during the workday.
Responsibilities
- Our Technicians must be able to mount, dismount, repair, inflate, and service tires of all sizes for our customers.
- This is a labor-intensive job and it requires the lifting and hauling tires (up to 100lbs.) multiple times a day.
- We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic who is willing to go the extra mile to provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years commercial road service experience required.
- Must possess a valid Class C or Class D license, required by the Department of Transportation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have a clean driving record over the past 3 years, as you will be driving to perform off-site service calls.
- Must be able to move, locate, stack, count and sort inventory is required.
- You must be able to load and unload various tires and sizes is required.
- It is critical for this individual to be able to deliver products safely to customers in a time efficient manner.
- Must be able to pick-up tires, and wheel from customers' location, writing it up properly to ensure quality control.
- Must be able to lift 100lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
- Ability to identify and address root causes when solving problems. Work collaboratively with other departments and functional teams to coordinate effective solutions.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills) required.
